See you at the Port Festival
There are two major Vindicatrix Association and Merchant Navy Association events at the inaugural Port Festival from April 21 to 29: Tales of the Sea between 1 pm and 3 pm on Saturday April 21 and Light The Sky-Gallipoli Lifeboats on Anzac Eve between 7 pm and 8 pm.
We are getting financial and other support for Tales of the Sea from Macgowan’s Coffee Lounge Cafe in Semaphore including storytellers, poets and entertainers from their Tuesday Poetry Nights.
Semaphore-Port Adelaide RSL,The Caledonian Society and Port Adelaide Sailing Club are supporting Light the Sky-Gallipoli Lifeboats and will be there in force; the Scots are providing our lone piper for the Closing Lament.
